Introducing with the Varjo XR-4 SteamVR tracking Edition. This version of the Varjo allowing compatibility with sensors such as the VIVE tracker 3.0. Representing the pinnacle of Varjo's VR/XR headset evolution, the Varjo What sets the Varjo XR-4 apart is its integrated XR functionality. The front-facing pass-through cameras seamlessly merge virtual images into the real world.
A striking feature of the Varjo Additionally, the Headset utilizes inside-out tracking, eliminating the need for external tracking sensors and making the Headset effortless to set up and use.
The Varjo Integrated DTS 3D spatial audio delivers immersive sound, while dual noise-cancelling microphones enable crystal-clear communications. Already with, the Varjo XR-4 combines advanced technologies and features into a powerful choice for those looking for an exceptional VR/XR experience.
Pros and cons
- The Varjo XR-4 offers the highest resolution available in the current XR market, an impressive 3840 x 3744 pixels and a density of 51 pixels per degree (PPD).
- The Varjo
- with inside-out tracking, the Varjo XR-4 eliminates the need for external sensors in space, providing a more streamlined and user-friendly XR experience.
- Previous Varjo models (VR-3, XR-3) required a Varjo Base subscription to use the Headset. However, with with the Varjo XR-4 this is no longer necessary. This Headset can be used and purchased without a subscription.
- The Varjo XR-4 requires a wired connection, meaning users are always physically connected to a PC via a cable. It is not possible to use the Headset wirelessly.
- For optimal performance of the Varjo XR-4, a powerful PC is required, preferably with an RTX 4070 video card or an even more powerful configuration.
- Please note: at sun damage To prevent this, it is essential to ensure that the lenses of the Headset are not directly exposed to sunlight.
- At the moment the XR-4 can only be used for business purposes. You must link your Varjo account to an organization to use the Headset.
