The Pimax Crystal is a fantastic Virtual Reality Headset from Pimax. The special thing about these VR glasses is that you can use them both wirelessly and wired with and Computer. In addition, the Pimax Crystal has built-in eye tracking, so that movements are followed very accurately. This ensures an optimal gaming and application experience.
The Headset contains a powerful Snapdragon The aspherical lenses in the Pimax Crystal improve light transmission and maximize pixel density, making the screen exceptionally sharp. In addition, the Headset QLED + Mini-LED screens with has a resolution of 2880 x 2880 pixels per eye, which is currently one of the highest screen resolutions on the (Consumers) market.
with a refresh rate of 90 to 120 Hz, games and applications are played very smoothly. The field of view (FOV) of the Headset varies between 110 and 125 degrees, depending on the chosen PPD ('pixels per degree') settings. Thanks to the sturdy headband, the Pimax Crystal can be worn comfortably, even for longer periods.

- Two Controllers are supplied as standard.
- The Pimax Crystal is anything but "Plug and Play". To have a good experience, a lot of manual configuration has to be done per game, so this Headset is only recommended for people who already have a lot of experience with VR.
- The software of the Pimax Crystal is not yet finished and features such as wireless PCVR streaming and Standalone use are not yet available.
- The Headset features the older Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor.
- The Headset is larger and heavier than comparable VR Glasses.
- The Crystal does not use SteamVR tracking by default, so the Headset cannot simply use with SteamVR Controllers and trackers.
- The range of Standalone applications on the Pimax Crystal is currently limited.
