The PSVR2 has an HDR resolution with OLED screen. The resolution of the new Headset is 2000 x 2040 pixels per eye. The OLED screen ensures that the game environment looks sharp and colorful. Unique to the PlayStation VR 2 Headset is that both the glasses and the Controllers will have haptic feedback. This means that the glasses and the Controllers can physically move with with, for example sound or other movements. In addition, this can ensure that you are less likely to suffer from motion sickness.
Unique VR system for PlayStation 5
PSVR is the only VR Glasses that with the game console of PlayStation works. You can easily connect the PlayStation VR 2 with USB-C cable to a PS5. The first generation PSVR required a separate adapter to connect the camera. This adapter has been removed from the PSVR2, so you only have to connect 1 cable to with to play the Headset. The Controllers are supplied as standard with the PlayStation VR 2 Headset. These are new type Controllers, Sony Touch Controllers. The Controllers have a unique new design and promise accurate hand tracking and haptic feedback. Sony has already indicated that it will be releasing a bundle with of the exclusive PlayStation game Horizon: Call of the Mountain. In addition to the starter pack, you will also receive a voucher code for the game. Furthermore, Sony has confirmed that another accessory will be launched, namely the PlayStation VR2 Sense Controller charging dock. This will charge both Controllers without extra cables. It is not yet known whether multiple bundles or accessories will also be available.
