Ordering from the UK how does that work with Unbound XR?

Our UK customers can continue to order from Unbound after Brexit, but there are a number of important changes, which we outline below:

Taxes

For orders up to a value of GBP 135, 20% import VAT will be added to the order. This applies to all orders shipped to the UK from January 1, 2021 and destined for Consumers. Also for orders received in 2020 but delivered in 2021.

For orders over GBP 135, the buyer must pay the import VAT in the UK himself. In most cases this means that the UK customer is responsible for paying the import duties and customs clearance costs.

Payment charge

For shipping to the UK it is necessary to fill out additional forms and enclose with with each order. A rate of € 17.50 per order is charged for these extra activities. These costs are already included in the shipping costs.

Delivery times

Due to the extra handling, both by Unbound XR and also at the border at customs, an extra 1-2 working days should be added to our standard delivery time for our shipments to the UK.
