Horizon Workrooms is not just another online collaboration platform. It stands out from the crowd thanks to the integration of VR, or Virtual Reality. This gives you the idea that you are actually physically and mentally present in the meeting room, while you are actually sitting at home on the couch or behind the desk. Horizon Workrooms proves that Virtual Reality is not only suitable for making games more intense and realistic, but can also be used during online meetings. Virtually gather with team members and colleagues to remotely brainstorm, share ideas, meet, give presentations, and work on collaborative tasks. To get the most out of Workrooms, you need a compatible VR Glasses. You can also use the platform without Virtual Reality Headset, although that is what makes Horizon Workrooms so unique and special.

This is how you use Horizon Workrooms

To get started with Horizon Workrooms you can log in here with your Meta account. This is the same as the account you use for Facebook and/or Instagram. Don't have a Meta account yet? Then you first need to create with your e-mail address. After you have registered your with your Meta account with Workrooms, you will receive a 4-digit code via email that you must enter in Workrooms. After that you can create a new workspace and with protect it with a password. Accept the terms. You can now send an invitation to colleagues, schedule a meeting, chat, share files with with each other, participate in a video conference and customize the virtual environment to your liking.

Horizon Workrooms Compatible VR headsets

Not every VR Headset can be used in Horizon Workrooms. Namely, the collaboration platform is only compatible with with the Meta Quest headsets, such as the Meta Quest 2 and the Meta [[MD5_41 ]]. To use Virtual Reality you need to install the Horizon Workrooms app on your compatible VR Headset. You can download this application via the app library on the glasses. Open the app and follow the in-VR instructions to complete the installation. In all probability, the new, not yet released Meta Quest 3 will also be compatible with Horizon Workrooms.
