The xbx a01+ is not a standalone AR-glasses, but a wired display glasses. The glasses operate via USB-C and require a device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, such as a suitable laptop, smartphone, handheld console, or other compatible media player.

The XBX a01+ is a light and accessible AR-display glasses from XBX By XREAL, designed for users who want to enjoy a large virtual screen on the go, at home, or in the office. Weighing just 62 grams with a front frame, the glasses are comfortable to wear, even for prolonged use. This makes the xbx a01+ very suitable for films, series, gaming, mobile working, and private viewing during travels.

The glasses utilise modern Micro-OLED screens with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 in 2D mode and 3840 x 1080 in 3D mode. Thanks to the refresh rate up to 120Hz, a field of view of 50 degrees, and support for HDR10 and AI-HDR, the xbx a01+ delivers a bright, smooth, and colourful image. The high brightness of 1600 nits ensures that content remains clearly visible even in lighter environments.

For added viewing comfort, the xbx a01+ features various image modes, including Standard, Cinema, and Eye Care. Stabilisation is also present, keeping the image steady during slight movements. This makes the glasses pleasant to use during, for instance, train or plane travels. The a01+ also supports 3D viewing, making films, games, and other content even more immersive.

The xbx a01+ is easy to use: simply connect the glasses to a suitable device using the included USB-C cable, and the virtual screen appears immediately. Since the glasses do not have a built-in battery, they are powered by the connected device. The a01+ comes with a detachable front lens and a Light Shield, giving users more control over light entry and viewing experience.
