The Trimble HoloTint is an easy-to-attach sunshade accessory for Microsoft HoloLens 2 and the Trimble XR10 that increases and stabilizes the contrast of holograms in outdoor or bright environments.

The HoloTint's photochromic lens automatically adjusts its tint level based on the UV rays in the ambient light, so that the contrast remains consistent as the user moves between different lighting conditions. It improves the visibility and readability of holographic content regardless of the environment, including natural sun and UV-radiating artificial lighting.

The HoloTint lens has a scratch-resistant coating applied as part of the final steps in the manufacturing process and is made of strong acrylic that won't break or shatter easily if hit or dropped.

The HoloTint mounting brackets attach with screws on either side of the Hololens 2 and can be left permanently attached. The colored lens can easily be clicked into the attachments. It is also designed to fit securely into the existing Hololens 2 carrying case, allowing you to keep the lens attached when the Hololens is not in use.
