Unlike the original Glass, Glass for Enterprise Edition 2 is specially designed for business users and offers several new features to enable collaboration, mobility, improve performance and efficiency in the workplace.

The Google Glass for Enterprise Edition 2 is lightweight, dust and water resistant. The Glass 2 has new safety frames that are sturdy enough for use in rugged industrial environments such as factory floors and construction sites.

The latest smart glasses also have an 8 megapixel camera, a 640 pixels x 360 pixels RGB display, 32 GB Memory, blink and wink sensors and a USB-C port for broader functionalities all around.

Another big difference with from the original is that the Enterprise for Glass 2 is built entirely on Android, making it much easier for developers* to build on, and for organizations to directly integrate existing applications and APIs.

Like its predecessor, the Glass for Enterprise 2 is fully voice-controlled, meaning users who work on the front line or in other roles where freehand movement is essential, be able to use all device functions without affecting productivity.
