The Trimble XR10 comes with a hard hat and HoloLens 2. The HoloLens 2 features a wider field of view than the HoloLens 1 and more accurate hand and eye tracking.
The audio from the Trimble XR10 is transmitted directly to the bone. This makes the audio crystal clear, even in noisy environments.
The HoloLens 2 is not suitable for gaming or entertainment applications.
With the Trimble XR10, the HoloLens 2 can only be used in combination with the hard hat to which it is attached.

Microsoft Trimble XR10 with HoloLens 2

The Trimble XR10 combines a certified construction helmet with the Microsoft HoloLens 2, the perfect combination for Mixed Reality on the construction site. Mixed Reality is the merging of a projection and reality: the HoloLens overlays 3D-modellen at full scale onto the environment as desired. With Microsoft Teams, for example, it is possible to view together through the HoloLens for remote assistance, where the integrated audio-apparaat uses the bone to transmit sound instead of the ears. This ensures crystal-clear audio, even in noisy environments.

When using Trimble Connect for HoloLens, it is possible to place the design in its environment before construction, walk through models, or perform checks during execution. By comparing reality with the model, errors can be quickly detected or prevented. Thanks to communicating via tasks in the model and using live collaboration sessions, better decisions can be made more quickly.

The XR10 is specially designed for use in hazardous environments: because the HoloLens is integrated with a construction helmet, it can be safely used on construction sites without compromising on ease of use and appearance. Additionally, the HoloLens (glasses) can be easily flipped up to quickly switch between Mixed Reality and reality. This means there is no need to change helmets when you are not using the HoloLens.
