MANUS Metagloves Pro Haptic
The MANUS Metagloves Pro Haptic are advanced data gloves for precise hand tracking and realistic haptic feedback in professional environments.
Extremely accurate hand tracking
The MANUS Metagloves Pro Haptic operate based on advanced electromagnetic field technology (EMF). Each glove generates its own electromagnetic field, within which each finger is equipped with a 6DOF EMF sensor that accurately measures both position and rotation. With the help of MANUS Hand Solver 3, the movements of all 17 articulated finger bones are then calculated, resulting in a fully anatomically correct digital representation of the hand. In addition, each finger has an integrated haptic LRA module that provides one-dimensional vibro-tactile feedback. A 9DOF IMU sensor integrated into the glove measures the hand orientation. The exact physical dimensions of the hand skeleton are determined by a personal user calibration, thereby accurately aligning the digital hand with the wearer's anatomy.
By combining EMF tracking with integrated haptic feedback, a bidirectional interaction is created: users not only see what is happening, but also feel it. The tactile signals support precision movements, improve spatial insight, and accelerate the learning process within teleoperation, XR environments, and embodied AI training. This makes the gloves particularly valuable for applications where humans and machines need to work together seamlessly.
MANUS Core software is the central middleware that brings your MANUS gloves to life: it visualises each finger movement accurately and with low latency, and makes it easy to record, export, and live stream hand data via plug-ins and SDKs for robotics and XR/VR.
With 25 degrees of freedom, the Metagloves Pro Haptic create an anatomically correct digital representation of the human hand. Every finger joint and joint movement is detailedly recorded, resulting in rich and fully anatomical datasets. These data form the basis for refined robot control, realistic simulations, and deep AI insight. For organisations working on digital twins, advanced robotics or high-end XR training, these pair of gloves are a specialised tool for optimising hand tracking.
