The most powerful exoskeleton from the HYPERSHELL X-series

The HYPERSHELL X Ultra S is the most advanced exoskeleton within the HYPERSHELL X-series. This model has been developed for users who require maximum support, a wide range and particularly strong construction during long walks, trekking, running and activities on challenging terrain. Two motors together deliver a power output of up to 1,000 W and a maximum torque of 22 N·m, enabling the exoskeleton to support movements powerfully and naturally.

The Ultra S can reduce the strain on the body by an equivalent of up to 39 kg and provides support at speeds of up to 25 km/h. Thanks to the lightweight frame of just 1.7 kg, the system remains comfortably portable. The total usage weight is approximately 2.5 kg.

Intelligent support with HyperIntuition

The integrated HyperIntuition technology continuously analyses the user's movements and adjusts the support in real time. The system responds not only to each step but also anticipates upcoming movements. As a result, the motors work in sync with the natural walking or running rhythm, making the support feel smooth.

This intelligent control helps to use energy more efficiently and reduce fatigue during prolonged exertion. This makes the Ultra S suitable for both recreational walks and intensive, multi-day outdoor activities.

Twelve smart usage modes

The HYPERSHELL X Ultra S features twelve adaptive modes that are tailored to different activities and terrains. In addition to modes for walking, running, stair climbing and uphill movement, there are special settings for snow and sand dunes, among others. The system recognises the movement pattern and adjusts the support automatically to the conditions.

Furthermore, the Ultra S features a powerful Boost Mode for additional support on steep or tough routes. The extensive Fitness Mode offers both Dynamic and Isotonic training, allowing the degree and form of support to be fine-tuned to personal training goals.

Two batteries for a range of up to 60 kilometres

The Ultra S comes with two interchangeable batteries of 72 Wh each. Together they offer a maximum range of up to 60 km, depending on the chosen support mode, the terrain, user weight and conditions. This makes the exoskeleton particularly suitable for long walks, multi-day tours and situations where recharging is not a given.

With the included four-port charging hub, the batteries can be easily recharged outside of the exoskeleton. The set also includes a 65 W power adapter and a USB-C cable, so both batteries can be efficiently prepared for the next outing.

Lightweight construction of titanium and carbon

High-quality materials are used in the construction of the Ultra S. The components around the hip are made of a strong and light titanium alloy. The leg levers are made of carbon fibre, which provides high stiffness and an efficient transfer of motor power.

This combination makes the exoskeleton resistant to intensive use, without compromising on comfort or freedom of movement. The Ultra S has therefore been developed for users who have high demands in terms of both performance and durability.

Developed for challenging conditions

The HYPERSHELL X Ultra S can be used in temperatures from -20°C to 60°C. This means the system remains operational during winter expeditions, mountain tours and activities in warm climates. The IP54 rating provides protection against dust and splashing water.

After use, the exoskeleton can be folded up compactly to a size of 450 × 260 × 125 mm. With a packing volume of just 6.5 litres, the system easily fits into larger luggage or a suitable trekking backpack. Unfolded, the dimensions are 450 × 600 × 125 mm.
