Bigscreen Beyond 2 Eye Holomount with Universal Face Mask
Compact form factor VR now with high-end specs
The Bigscreen Beyond 2 is the latest and most advanced PC-VR headset from Bigscreen. Weighing in at just 107 grams (excluding cable and headband), this is the lightest high-end VR headset on the market. The Beyond 2 features two Micro-OLED displays with a resolution of 2560 × 2560 pixels per eye, providing an exceptionally sharp image with deep black levels, high contrasts and no screen door effect. Thanks to an improved optical system, the field of view has significantly improved compared to the previous model: approximately 108 degrees horizontally and 96 degrees vertically. This means a broader viewing experience with fewer edges and more immersion.
This version of the Beyond 2 comes with a universal face mask and the innovative HoloStrap. Unlike the original Beyond, which required a personal 3D face scan, the universal mask makes the headset instantly deployable and suitable for shared use. The HoloStrap is a halo-like headband with a rotating knob at the back for easy and stable adjustment. The headset is attached to the front via a hinge mechanism, allowing you to quickly and easily flip it up when you want to switch back to the real world. This makes the headset particularly practical in work environments or when multitasking intensively, without compromising on comfort or stability during VR use.
Optionally, you can order the Beyond 2 with integrated eye-tracking. This version is only one gram heavier, but offers advanced capabilities such as foveated rendering, user analysis and gaze interaction. The eye-tracking is fully supported via SteamVR and can provide valuable insights in professional applications. For those who only seek maximum image quality and wearing comfort, the version without eye-tracking is an excellent choice.

New in Beyond 2 compared to Beyond 1:
- Improved field of view (more horizontal and vertical view)
- Lighter design for prolonged comfort
- Adjustable IPD, no facial scan required anymore
- Universal face mask for shared use
- HoloStrap with rotary knob and fold-up headset
The Bigscreen Beyond 2 operates exclusively in combination with a compatible Windows PC and utilises the SteamVR ecosystem. This means that you need at least one SteamVR base station for tracking, although two are recommended for optimal precision and roomscale use. Note: The headset does not support inside-out tracking. Controllers such as the Valve Index Controllers or HTC Vive controllers are optional and sold separately.
Thanks to the modular design, improved ergonomics and optional features, the Bigscreen Beyond 2 is ideally suited for demanding users such as simracers, flightsimmers, developers and professionals who work extensively in VR and do not want to compromise on comfort, performance or image quality.
