With dual 20 MP passthrough cameras, advanced LiDAR, and ambient light reconstruction, the boundary between the real and virtual world blurs – with complete data security.

The XR-4 Secure Edition is optimised for environments where no internet connection is allowed. All features remain available in complete offline mode. No cloud services, no external storage – just local processing and full control over firmware, updates, and data storage.

For situations where absolute control is required: this edition operates completely without wifi and offers a closed XR experience, ideal for use in strictly secured environments.

Secure Edition – Fully Shielded
The ultimate choice for maximum confidentiality. This model blocks all radio signals and excludes any external contact. No wifi, no Bluetooth, no leaks – just pure, unfiltered XR without the risk of interference or espionage.

Upgradeable to the Focal Edition – Gaze-Driven Auto-Focus

This Secure Edition is available with an upgrade to the Focal Edition, including Varjo's exclusive gaze-driven autofocus. This technology automatically focuses on where you are looking, providing a realistic and intuitive experience that aligns with natural human vision. With a visual sharpness up to 51 pixels per degree (PPD) this model is particularly suitable for demanding applications such as medical training, product development, and advanced simulations.

Flexible Tracking Options

The XR-4 Secure Edition supports multiple tracking methods to seamlessly fit your working environment:

• Inside-out tracking (standard): Simple and mobile tracking without external sensors – ideal for quick and flexible setups.
• SteamVR™ tracking (optional): For maximum precision in professional environments – compatible with up to four base stations and various controllers.

In addition, integration with third-party motion tracking systems such as ART and OptiTrack is possible via external APIs.

Professional Design for Intensive Use

The Secure Edition is ergonomically built for prolonged professional use. Featuring automatic IPD adjustment, support for glasses wearers, integrated noise cancelling microphones, and DTS 3D spatial audio. The headset is also compatible with haptic Razer controllers and can be optionally extended with Ultraleap hand tracking.

Offline Compatible with Varjo-Ready PCs

Works optimally in combination with a selection of Varjo-Ready Windows 10 and 11 systems that are suitable for use in secured networks without internet access. Software installation and updates are carried out via secure, offline distribution channels.
