To achieve the best possible experience, it is possible to adjust the crystal-clear aspherical lenses precisely to the user's eyes using so-called “one-dot-kalibratie”. Unlike the VR-3 and XR-3, the Varjo Aero can be used without a software licence. However, you still need to purchase peripherals, such as sensors and controllers, separately. For this, you can use, for example, the HTC VIVE base stations and controllers.
