The BoboVR M2 Pro Elite Strap is a good alternative to the official Oculus Elite Strap with battery. This Elite Strap headband from the brand BoboVR is more comfortable against the head due to its wide front. With the battery that you simply clip on the back of the Elite Strap, the balance of the headband is also better distributed, allowing you to comfortably wear the Oculus Quest 2 headset for longer periods of time.
Another advantage of the BoboVR M2 Elite Strap is that it comes with a rotating knob on the back of the headband. This makes adjusting the band a lot easier than the standard elastic that comes with the Quest 2 headset.
On the back of the BoboVR M2 Pro Elite Strap, a 5200 mAh power bank can be attached to the headband with a magnetic click. With this power bank, you have about 3 hours more playtime. Tip: the batteries are hot-swappable. This means that you can detach the battery and attach a new one without the VR glasses switching off. It is therefore recommended to order a battery extra.
The installation of the BoboVR M2 Pro Elite Strap is very simple. Remove the original elastic bands from the Quest 2 headset and slide the sides of the BoboVR Strap over the connectors until they are about halfway. Then make sure the cushion is properly against the forehead. Finally, click the power bank onto the back of the Strap using the magnet and connect it to the charging cable for the headset.
