The Realman EVS08 is a compact and efficient electric vacuum gripper, designed for light pick-and-place applications within industrial automation. Thanks to the integrated vacuum system, no external air supply is needed, which simplifies installation and reduces overall system complexity. This makes the EVS08 particularly suitable for flexible manufacturing environments and cobot setups where speed and simplicity are paramount.
The gripper is ideal for handling flat and lightweight objects such as plastic parts, cardboard, packaging material and small components. By using electric vacuum technology, the EVS08 provides a stable and consistent grip without the need for pneumatic infrastructure. This results in lower operating costs and less maintenance.
The Realman EVS08 features an adjustable vacuum level from 5% to 75% and an airflow of 10 L/min, making it versatile for different materials and surfaces. With a maximum payload of 4 kg and its own weight of 1.4 kg, the gripper offers a good balance between power and deployability on lightweight robot arms. The operation is based on a 24V DC power supply (±10%) with a nominal current of 1A, making it suitable for standard industrial applications.
In addition, the EVS08 is characterized by quick response times with a suction time of approximately 0.4 seconds and a release time of 0.2 seconds, contributing to efficient cycle times in automated processes. The gripper can be controlled via RS485 (MODBUS RTU) and Digital I/O, making integration with Realman robot arms and other industrial systems easy to achieve. With an IP54 protection rating, the EVS08 is resistant to dust and splash water, making it suitable for use in various industrial environments.
