The passthrough camera of the Meta Quest 3s has been improved with higher image quality and full-colour, making the headset more suitable for mixed reality applications.
The Meta Quest 3s can retrospectively be used with games for the Meta Quest 2.
Inside the Meta Quest 3s is a newer version of the Snapdragon XR2 gen 2 processor. This processor can play games smoothly and at high quality.
The Quest 3s is a standalone VR headset. This means that the headset relies on a (built-in) battery. This battery can run out during play, after which you need to charge the headset.
A standalone headset is always less powerful than a PC-driven VR glasses. However, you can connect the Meta Quest 3s to a PC with a Oculus Link cable.
