HYPERSHELL X Max S Exoskeleton
HYPERSHELL X Pro S: intelligent support for every step
The HYPERSHELL X Pro S is a wearable exoskeleton that actively supports your legs during walking, hiking, stair climbing, cycling, and other outdoor activities. Two powerful motors support the movement from the hips, making slopes, longer distances, and varying terrains require less effort.
With a maximum output power of 800 W, a motor torque of up to 18 Nm, and a supported movement speed of up to 20 km/h, the X Pro S offers a balanced combination of power, portability, and ease of use. The exoskeleton can reduce physical effort by up to 30% according to Hypershell and compensate a load of approximately 30 kg.
HyperIntuition responds directly to your movement
The key innovation over the previous X-series is the new HyperIntuition AI system. This system continuously analyses your walking pattern, posture, and terrain and adjusts the support within approximately 0.31 seconds. This makes the support feel more natural when starting, stopping, accelerating, or switching from flat terrain to a slope.
The X Pro S has ten intelligent movement modes for walking, speed walking, running, cycling, mountainous terrain, gravel, stair climbing, and ascending or descending slopes. You can further customize the support to your activity and personal preference through the Hypershell app.
More control during descents and slow walking
During descents and descending stairs, the improved Descent Assist automatically applies active damping. This helps absorb shocks and reduces the strain on the knees. Low-Speed Enhance also provides more stable support for short steps and lower walking speeds.
In addition to support, the X Pro S offers a Fitness Mode. Here, the motors provide controlled resistance, allowing you to use the exoskeleton for walking training and targeted leg muscle training.
Range and comfort
The included 72 Wh battery offers a range of up to approximately 17.5 kilometres in the Eco 30 setting. The battery is replaceable and can be charged via USB-C with the included 65 W charger. For longer walks, an optional second battery can be carried.
The updated carrying system combines a carbon fibre and aluminium construction with softer support around the hips and legs. The X Pro S has a carrying weight of about 2.55 kg, including the carrying system and one battery. Thanks to its foldable design, the exoskeleton can be carried compactly.
Comparison with the previous HYPERSHELL X Pro
| Feature | New X Pro S | Previous X Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum power | 800 W | 800 W |
| Range per battery | Up to 17.5 km | Up to 17.5 km |
| Intelligent modes | 10 modes | 10 modes |
| Motion recognition | HyperIntuition end-to-end AI | MotionEngine with pattern recognition |
| Response speed | Approximately 0.31 seconds | Previous generation, up to 64.5% slower |
| Support during descent | Improved active damping | Standard downhill support |
| Low-speed support | Low-Speed Enhance | Not present |
| Carrying system | Updated with more support and stability | First generation carrying system |
| Included batteries | 1 battery | 2 batteries |
| Protection class | IP54 | IP54 |
The X Pro S is therefore not primarily a more powerful successor to the old X Pro. The maximum power and the standard range are comparable. The greatest progress is in faster motion recognition, more natural support, improved stability, and the updated carrying system.
Within the old X-series, the X Pro S positions itself above the X Go with 400 W, but below the former X Ultra with 1000 W and twelve movement modes. This model is therefore particularly suitable for users who seek powerful support for walking, travelling, and regular outdoor use, without necessarily choosing the heaviest top model.
Please note: The HYPERSHELL X Pro S is not a medical device. The product is intended for users who can walk independently, lift their legs themselves, and maintain their balance without support.
