For consumer orders, we offer a standard warranty period of 1 year. This means we guarantee the proper functioning and quality of the product for a period of 12 months after purchase.

Warranty Period

For consumer orders, we offer a standard warranty period of 1 year. This means we guarantee the proper functioning and quality of the product for a period of 12 months after purchase. Should a defect occur within this period as a result of materiaal- or manufacturing faults, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion. This warranty applies to normal use of the product according to the provided instructions. After the 1-year warranty period, additional manufacturer warranty may apply. This manufacturer warranty varies by brand. Please contact us for more information.

For business orders, the same 1-year warranty period applies. This period ensures the proper functioning and quality of the product for a year after purchase. Should defects occur within this period as a result of materiaal- or manufacturing faults, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion.

Claiming Warranty and/or Repair

You can claim warranty or offer your product for repair in the following cases:

  • Defect within the warranty period of the product;
  • Defect outside the warranty period of the product, where costs may be incurred.

 

If you wish for us to examine the product, the return costs are at your expense. If the examination shows that the warranty claim is valid, we will reimburse the return costs.

ImportantWe only reimburse standard return costs. This does not include additional insurance.

Once we receive your product for a warranty claim, we will first assess whether the issue falls within or outside the warranty and whether our VR-specialisten can resolve the issue. If it is not a warranty case, there may be (examination) costs associated with the processing of the service request and repair of the product. We strive to give you an estimate of these potential costs in advance, so you are not faced with unexpected expenses.

Warranty Exemptions

In some cases, there are exemptions from the standard warranty conditions:

  • The seller's warranty cannot be transferred when a product is resold via a second-hand platform such as a marketplace;
  • Damage caused by incorrect use, accidents, abuse, or unauthorised modifications to the product;
  • Products with (internal) vocht-, val-, stoot-, zon-, and/or pressure damage;
  • Batteries: Batteries have a standard warranty period of 1 year.

Direct Contact with the Manufacturer

For some products, such as HTC Vive products*, it is faster to contact the manufacturer directly. Some manufacturers repair a product at no cost or offer to send the product for repair under warranty. Therefore, we recommend in some cases to contact the manufacturer directly for the promptest handling of your RMA-aanvraag.
