Netherlands

1. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to:

  • The renting party, hereinafter referred to as the ‘renter’;
  • The renting party, hereinafter referred to as Unbound XR or the ‘lessor’.

2. Offer

You will always receive a written offer from us via e-mail stating the rental rate. After agreement on the amount, the renter will receive a quotation and/or (proforma) invoice with which the verhuur-afspraak can be finalised.

3. Payment

Payment can be made via a payment link that you receive from your contact person at Unbound XR, or via a bank transfer of the agreed rate. You will receive a (proforma) invoice with the necessary information to make the payment. Please note: in most cases, payment must be made in advance of the rental period and be credited to the lessor's account, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Bank Details

  • Bank: ING Bank

5. Transport and Shipping

The shipping of rented items must always be done in consultation between the renter and the lessor. Some products cannot be shipped via a standard service (PostNL, DPD, DHL) but must be transported personally or via an external courier service. Rented items may be collected one day before the rental period and returned one day after the rental period. Example: if a product is rented on Wednesday, it may be collected on Tuesday and returned on Thursday.

Please note: collection and return of rented items can only take place from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00 (location: Kerkenbos 1063M, 6546 BB Nijmegen).

6. Weekend Rentals

In some cases, you may only need rented items for the weekend. The weekend counts as 1 verhuur-dag. Example: if you want to use the rented item on Saturday, it may be collected on Friday and returned on Monday. A total of 1 verhuur-dag will be charged for this.

7. Liability

Once the agreement has been made and the renter has the products in use/possession, all responsibilities for the care of the product lie with the renting party. The renter is (among other things) responsible and liable for:

  • Handling rented materials correctly;
  • Negligence (e.g., leaving rented items unattended);
  • Aesthetic damage due to fault or unforeseen circumstances;
  • Functional defects due to fault or unforeseen circumstances;
  • Timely collection/return or readiness within the agreed times;
  • Returning rented items complete (i.e., including all accessories that were provided).

If damage to rented items is found upon return, the renter is responsible for this. If repair costs are incurred, these costs will be charged to the renter.
