The revamped Elite Strap headband from BoboVR still uses the well-known hot-swappable battery but has resolved the issue of the battery becoming too hot during use. Additionally, it improves discharge efficiency by 6% compared to the previous model and adds a few handy features such as low battery warnings and precise battery level indicators.
The all-new B100 battery system retains the same volume as the B2-batterij but increases the capacity from 5200 mAh to 10000 mAh. The battery capacity rises by 92%, while the weight only increases by 28%. Thanks to higher output efficiency, the available capacity of the B100 now offers twice as much. The BoboVR S3 Pro headband is equipped with a built-in air conditioning system for the head, which uses silent technology to keep the head and face cool and comfortable, even during prolonged use of the Meta Quest 3.
The back of the head has been optimised with a flatter structure, making the headband more comfortable to wear, even when lying on the couch with the headset on. The height of the voorhoofd-beugel above the head is adjustable and supports personal customisation and removal.

Essential for enhanced comfort and battery life of Quest 3
Tested in our own Unbound testing space
For me, the standard headstrap of the Meta Quest 3 was simply not comfortable. After half an hour it started to pull on the front of my head, and longer sessions were just no longer an option. That's why I started using the BoboVR S3 Pro Super Headstrap with Battery every time I use the Quest 3.
This headstrap is truly a world of difference. The weight is distributed much better, and thanks to the soft padding and the sturdy turning mechanism, everything is much more stable and comfortable. Since I started using this strap, I can easily stay in VR for one and a half to two hours without feeling any discomfort.
The magnetic battery is also a smart addition. You click it on – and when it's empty, you replace it in a few seconds. There's even a fan built into the headstrap, which keeps your head and face cool during intensive VR action.
In short: if, like me, you don't find the standard headstrap comfortable, then this is an absolute must-have. Not only for the comfort, but also for the extended playtime.
