In 2020, Peter Chou, former CEO and co-founder of HTC, announced the XRSpace Manova; a compact device made for "social interaction". While many similar devices, such as the HTC VIVE and Oculus Quest 2, primarily focus on gaming, the Manova is specifically designed to bring people together in the virtual world.
